Navanex is a company specialized in naval architecture and marine engineering. Located in Gaspé and working closely with Chantier Naval Forillon, Navanex stands out for its strong expertise in shipbuilding as well as its comprehensive client support.

Our mission: to simplify naval architecture, design innovative vessels, and provide high-level engineering services to the maritime industry.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Mechanical Design Draftsperson who will play a key role within our young, passionate, and dynamic team.

Rquired profile:

  • DEP or DEC in industrial drafting, mechanical engineering, or any equivalent training;
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in mechanical drafting or technical design;
  • Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Rhino, or equivalent;
  • Ability to work in a structured, methodical, autonomous, and rigorous manner;
  • French and English level 4/5 (spoken and written).

Your day-to-day role:

  • Create 3D models of innovative vessels and prepare assembly drawings;
  • Design all components making up a vessel;
  • Produce technical drawings and construction documents with exemplary precision;
  • Integrate mechanical systems with creativity and ingenuity.
