Naval Architecture Technician

At a glance

You’ll be joining a team working on concrete projects that go from the office to the construction site. Permanent full-time position (40 hours), with flexible hours, group insurance and pension plan.

Flexible work arrangements: we’ll determine them together based on the position, the projects, and your profile. Navanex has more than one service point.

To be expected: occasional presence on site (construction site) depending on the mandates.

To apply: send your CV to info@navanex.ca (and a portfolio if you have one).

If you like it when things really happen on the field… you’re in the right place!

Here, your plans don’t just sit in a file; they go into production on the construction site. The role involves several aspects of the ship: modeling, systems integration, technical documentation, and client support during construction. We’re looking for someone who enjoys understanding the “why” behind choices and can translate that into clear deliverables.

In terms of soft skills, we’re looking for someone reliable, rigorous, curious, able to ask questions, and a good team player. We can give you the exact context of the projects: if you have the foundation and the right attitude, we’ll guide you through the rest.

The Navanex atmosphere

We’re a small, close-knit team. We work hard, but you’re not all alone in your corner.

Things are happening here: projects are moving forward, priorities are being set, and we adjust together when necessary.

We aim for good performance: one where you feel stimulated, well supported and where you see projects truly progressing.

We help each other, we keep things simple and we are proud when the result is solid.

How does it work?

  1. Send your CV (portfolio if you have one). Cover letter optional (a few lines in your CV are sufficient if you wish).
  2. We’ll have a 15-20 minute call to talk for the first time, see if we’re on the same page, and so you can ask your questions.
  3. Main interview: concrete technical discussion on your way of working + examples (plans, models, projects).

Even if your background is unconventional: apply. The first call is to explore together if we’re a good fit.
