The dredging barge was designed to increase its loading capacity from 40 m3 to 50 m3, a 25% increase. The customer will see gains in productivity and, therefore, profitability. With its superior design and durable materials, the new barge promises to serve its purpose for many years.

The custom product also includes standard equipment. In the event of breakage or wear, Les Entreprises PEC will be able to replace them promptly. We also added protection to the cables and pulleys. This results in greater operational safety, a significant asset for the crew.

Satisfied with the dredging barge obtained, the client ordered the construction of a second barge. We took the opportunity to slightly modify the dimensions of this one at the company’s request, which allowed, among other things, for wider doors. This additional improvement leads to faster material discharge: another efficiency gain!
