Support vessel for seiner
Design a support vessel for seine fishing to replace the Canada 100, the oldest vessel in the Connors Bros. Fisheries fleet.
Challenges
It is often said that small vessels are the trickiest to design as they do not have much room to manoeuvre and are often more difficult to balance.
This project presented several challenges, including a maximum weight of 12,500 lbs, an overall length of 21’ and optimal pulling power. These were the three main parameters for this little boat, which turned out to be a great design challenge.

Description
Ce navire polyvalent est équipé pour pêcher le crabe, la crevette et le poisson de fond. L’arrangement actuel propose deux cales à l’eau (RSW), une cale réfrigérée et un système de production de glace liquide qui font de ce navire un petit bijou technologique. Avec une stabilité impressionnante, ce navire est une véritable machine à exécuter. Ce navire a été produit en 2 exemplaires. Navire prototype construit par CNF (EXECUTIONER) et 2e de série construit par HGOE (RUSSELL’S LEGACY).
